When you think of huge international smash-hit pop/disco groups from the 70’s and early 80’s, a name comes to mind. Once you’ve skipped over the Bee Gees however, ABBA remains just as memorable and iconic as ever. This is a band who wasn’t defined strongly by any one album, but rather through their constant electrification of the charts worldwide. Something about Swedes and pop music apparently just makes sense to audiences everywhere, leading to ABBA going platinum over and over and over and over.
